As a club we try and ensure that all athletes will join a squad run by a qualified coach. Our coaches are more than happy to have help from parents of younger athletes to assist in the training sessions. No experience is needed ti help just some enthusiasm. Parents may also wish to become associate members of the club, the advantage of this is that any courses attended, to become qualified coaches or technical officials, will be refunded in full.
The Club is run by enthusiasts who try and involve people of all ages and backgrounds in the rewarding sport of amateur athletics. All abilities are catered for whether you are a complete novice or an experienced superstar. Athletes can compete in Track and Field, Cross Country, road running, race walking, sportshall athletics and more.
Athletes may wish to become members of the club. This is essential if one wants to compete for the club. As a member of the club there are many advantages from supervised training sessions to reduce entry fee to the track. The fee also covers areas such as insurance and entry fees to some meetings.
