During the summer coaches have holidays too! Therefore, there will be certain dates when some groups will not be training. We'll try to list those dates here so you don't have a wasted trip to the track but can't guarantee to list every date as some coaches may not have told us!

Lynne Moodys Monday Multi-Event Group

Bob Mills Long Jump Group training as usual until the end of August.
Rob Davies / John Derry Tuesday Sprint Group. Not training on 19 & 26 August. Will restart on 2 September.

FESTIVAL FUN RUN / WALK
Sunday 21st September
For serious athletes and not so serious or anyone else. Approximately three miles round Tudor Grange Park and surrounding fields, no roads involved.
Do come along and join in an enjoyable run or just a stroll round the course. Start & Finish at the Norman Green Athletics Track. Help us to raise money for the local charities supported by Festival 08.

OFFICIALS NEEDED!
Officials are always needed to help meetings run. The club has an obligation to provide officials at meetings that club athletes compete in and there is always a need for new officials

PROPOSED CLUBHOUSE
Plans for the proposed clubhouse have now been approved by the council. Negotiations for funding are at an advanced stage. As soon as more information is available it will be posted here, In the meantime, have a look at the proposed plans here.
